Official Launch of the 2023 Co-op Superstores Cork County Hurling Championships

    The Co-op Superstores Cork County Hurling Championships will officially commence on Friday July 22nd with a weekend of exciting games taking place throughout the county. The anticipation is building as clubs prepare for a tremendous weekend of games.

     

    Clubs throughout the county are gearing up for the first round of games and the excitement is already in the air. Fans can expect even more games this year with each knock-out stage which will see a series of county finals in Páirc Uí Chaoimh again this autumn. 

     

    At this year’s launch Cork County Chairperson Marc Sheehan commented, “We are delighted to welcome Co-Op Superstores to Páirc Uí Chaoimh for the launch of our 2023 Co-Op Superstores Cork County Hurling Championships.  This year promises to be even better than last with a bumper weekend of games ahead.  I would like to thank Liam, and all at Co-Op Superstores for the continued support.”

    Speaking at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork GAA CEO, Kevin O’Donovan said, “We are proud to continue a deepening association with Co-Op Superstores for our prestigious Hurling Championships for another busy season. After the success of our U20 Hurlers this year, all eyes will be how current and future stars perform in the powder-keg that is the County Championship.”
